I have strange prickly tingling sensations down one thigh. Now it is happening in the other one. I am treating babs but some bart symptoms are creeping back in. Does anyone know what infection causes this symptom?

It could be a neuropathy caused by lyme disease.
Notice this in the symptom list on page 10 of Burrascano's Guidelines:
Tingling, numbness, burning or stabbing sensations, shooting pains, skin hypersensitivity
These crazy false sensations are common with lyme disease. I had the feeling of patches of sunburned skin moving around my body and also the feeling of being stabbed by thousands of pins and needles. Lyme treatment got rid of these sensations.
Because many posters have asked me, I will tell you that I was never treated for parasites.
I got rid of lyme, babs, and bart over 6 years ago and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life. I have the same life I had before lyme disease.

Thanks all, Isn't mycoplasma related to ehrlichia? I have ehrlichia.
I don't believe parasites are a problem. I took a dose of ivermectrin just to be sure and nothing came out - no effect or change at all. I used to feel sorry for my horses thinking they may have cramps from it - but nothing for me, so they probably just hate the taste. It is horrible.
I can't get that link to come up yet steve. My internet is so slow.

My LLMD put me on a couple of anti seizure drugs to help with this type of pain. I haven't started them yet. Any one else using this type of drug for burning, tingling, & itching?

My tingling does not hurt. It is just a weird feeling. One of the infections is trying to get started again. Sometimes I also have twitching or pain in one knee. I have not had these symptoms for a very long time. I have been focused on babesia treatment. I am seeing a new doctor next month.
