I had an allergic reaction to Bactrim so my doctor is trying me on trimethoprim only without the sulfa drug component of bactrim.
The trimethoprim is making my eyes feel dry and irritated, is this reasonable and normal? I suspect people who've taken Bactrim can relate since Trimethoprim is an ingredient in Bactrim... any ideas?
