Hey all,
I started IM rocephin last week and I've not herded at all....does that actually happen!? I have them 4 times a week

I thought for sure it would get me. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean my lyme load isn't very big....

just confused?

WhitneyS, everyone reacts differently when it comes to herxing. Read these post below from people that did, and didnt herx on rocephin.

Not everyone experiences a herx with every antibiotic change. Remember, we are all different, we have different infections, different symptoms, different tolerance levels...

I did not have a noticeable herx with IV Rocephin. Over time (a couple months) I noticed slow steady improvements. It was a good med for me.

Look forward to seeing your improvements [Smile]

Someone else asked, is Rocephin for Lyme or Bartonella? It is used to treat Lyme. Other antibiotics are usually prescribed with it to treat Bartonella if needed.

Ok, thanks guys.

In general i have very mild reactions, I guess I was just expecting more. I never know if anything I take is working or not!
