Anyone ever try this? supposed to have surfactants that help w biofilms. saw this on Dr D's presentation but not much info at all

Why are the ingredients not easy to find? Why did they even start with food dye in it? Would they have changed had there not been an outcry about that?
GSE (grapefruit seed extract) and Coconut Oil have surfactant properties. I just use those.
Many herbs also possess surfactant properties - but I'd have to dig through my notes to find that.
GOTU KOLA is one, though. It can compromise the waxy outer layer of the leprosy germ.

SAPONIN-CONTAINING HERBS
are known for their ability to produce frothing or foaming in solution with water. The name "saponin" comes from the Latin word for soap.
They emulsify fat soluble molecules in the digestive tract, and their most important property is to enhance the body's ability to absorb other active compounds.
Saponins have the ability to effectively dissolve the cell membranes of red blood cells and disrupt them.
However, when taken internally they are comparatively harmless or not absorbed at all.
Saponin-rich herbs like yucca and sarsaparilla give root beer its foamy properties. . . .

Note: Sarsaparilla (smilax g.) is often suggested for lyme treatment.
Generally, a one ounce bottle of an herbal tincture - or even a blend - is about $10.to $12.

- Thanks for posting the question. I learned a few things.
I knew that Gotu Kola was in this category but did not know that about sarsaparilla or schizandra (even though I've studied them extensively, guess it just flew out of my brain).
I've done very well with Gotu Kola and Schizandra -- Sarsaparilla is an herb that one is glad to have taken as it does have nice results but it can be harder to tolerate. Start low and slow if you use that.
Licorice, too. Hmmm. That is mentioned as one to help negate borrelia toxins. in the article
Buhner also discusses some of these in his "Healing Lyme" book. -

Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc. (but be aware many in this category are not formally educated in herbal medicine other than a weekend lecture here and there)
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures;
Knowing that support supplements are important, but NEVER enough alone. And knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches.

Yes. My family has gone through 2 bottles and I am outraged at the expense. I just called the company and they offer a discount if you order 6 bottles or more--another outrage.
Many of my doc's autism patients swear by this product, however. To me, it tastes exactly like soap. I'm wondering how difficult it is to makeor if we should just start to use a little extra dishwashing liquid during that final rinse.
I'm liking what Keebler says about the coconut oil and the herbs. Maybe we could make up our own little batch. Somebody give me some encouragement here

A LL ND (naturopathic doctor) or an Acupuncturist would be a good choice for advice. There is at least one excellent LL ND in Maine. Contact your area support groups. -
