HI I haven't posted in a while but feel like i'm heading downhill and the symptoms list i've posted below maybe a recurrence of Lyme or co-infections or maybe not...
Very irregular and unusual stools, not well formed and messy (but the infectious disease specialist says i'm clear of parasites)
Nauseated occasionally Sweats a couple of weeks ago were drenching although this has gotten better lately
Back pain in a new place - for years it's been my right hip and right back near the hip, but lately it's across my entire upper back behind the lungs, the pain wakes me up
Back pain in the normal place continues combined with a tornado like feeling in my hip area - it feels like a tornado is going on in my bowels
Disturbed sleep
Acid indigestion abt 3 hours after eating, reflux
Left arm goes numb
Calves ache, and areas behind the knees
oh, and my left eye clouds over so it's muddy but the opthamologist sees nothing wrong
The only medications i'm taking are the occasional ibuprofen when the pain is bad or a tramadol the Androgel bec it was felt that testosterone might help fighting the Lyme
the only vitamins herbs - like stuff i take occasionally are a Vit D, chlorella, maybe some garlic pills, some fiber pills that have acidophilus in them....
i was taking mag citrate and another magnesium brand but am only taking occasionally now, trying to pinpoint what works and what doesn't
Appreciate any inisights you might have, have scheduled an apptmnt with the regular MD bec don't have a LLD in NYC

Hi Dan,
I can't really say because I am new to this myself.
But as for the stomach issues...
How many cfu (in millions, or billions) does your fibre supplement have?
I can relate to your stomach issues.
For me, prior to abx, taking 50 billion cfus of MIXED probiotics daily, at bedtime, REALLY really helped my stomach.
(Now on abx, I take 100 billion-200 billion daily)
Also, something to consider, have you recently changed the type of fibre supplement that you're taking? Sometimes that will cause me to have a monster in my belly.
Have you been tested for H. Pylori?

For the back pain, only guessing here - turmeric can help reduce inflammation. I get it in bulk and put it in capsules.
If your ribs are affected, then a good chiropractor can ease that pain.
I use a massager called an Equalizer to relax the back muscles.
For eyes, you could try drinking mangosteen juice to see whether it could help clear up inflammation. You can find it in healthfood stores and online. I like the Mango-Xan version, as it's tart. Go slowly in the beginning, as it can be powerful, and drink water too.

Kefir can help to replace the good bacteria in the intestines that are needed for digestion. I noticed when I drink a cup of kefir per day, that my digestion improves, I have much less gas, and even the aroma is less noxious.

I am only giving my opinion, but it is generally accepted that an infectious disease specialist will not be able to get you well.
Would recommend getting a second opinion from a reputable LLMD.
A good probiotic is definitely important (I use VSL3).
Not sure I'd be taking magnesium and fiber - they're both going to make you go. Unless you've been constipated, perhaps taking a break would help.

Dan,
If I would have listened to any doctors about not having parasites, I would be dead. The testing like Lyme isn't accurate. Try taking some antiparasitic herbs and maybe low dose salt/c and see if you get a reaction.
Better yet, if you can get to a a Dr. K. trained doc who tests and treats parasites, that would even be better. I really would consider treating parasites. Google parasite symptoms.
