I've searched this site for informtion/protocol for taking Nystatin and probiotics and wanted to know if there was ever a definitive answer. There is much debate on this topic.
The issue is Nystatin kills yeast in the gut. LLMDs recommend taking probiotics including saccharomyces boulardii which is a good yeast you need in your gut. Our LLMD perscribed nystatin and is also very big on probiotics and gave us s. boulardii to take.
I guess my question is, can I take Nystatin and the recommended probiotics including the good yeast s. boulardii, but just 2 hours apart?
Any thoughts or experiences?

Thank you. We are also taking them 2 hours apart.
I am liking it to the abx that kills all the good bacteria and then we replace with probiotics. They nystanin kills all yeast so we have to replace the good yeast.
If anyone has any other thoughts or experiences please post.
Thanks
