1) Best price on an airsep Intensity 10: Vitality Medical.

www.vitalitymedical.com

Discounted price $1335, shipping $15, but sometimes they also offer extra holiday sales. Ask.

They also carry other concentrators. Respironics is sometimes used with chambers.

Unfortunately Sequal/Integra was bought out by Airsep and it has been retired. Used ones can be found. I have heard of used ones for $650 plus two years warranty and free shipping both ways for repairs, and am trying to get that source to put here, a doctor found it for her patients.

2) To search for used chambers which inevitably include concentrators, on craigslist try the following searches on Google:

mild hyperbaric chamber site:craigslist.org

vitaeris site: craigslist.org

respiro site:craigslist.org

solace site:craigslist.org

Vitaeris is the largest, respiro medium and solace the small size. The above searches will cull ALL ADS for craigslist nationwide, with those search terms. You will find a range of prices depending on year, condition, and how often used.

You can also try ebay.

JCarlHelp, a member with two chambers, uses this
website to search nationwide craigslist.

Good place for inexpensive tubing, masks and OEM filters to maintain your concentrator:

Oxygen Plus Medical

Fax: 1-540-296-3157

They also completely recondition concentrators for $350, with a 3 year warranty.

If you find a used chamber and cannot personally go inspect it, you may want to use escrow.com. According to Phoiph, they will hold the funds for a specified time agreed upon by the buyer and seller until you have a chance to inspect/test the chamber...

Here are some scam artists:

Apparently ads where you contact Sean or James, go to a broker who is a scam artist.

The only FDA approved chambers are oxyhealth. Other chambers do not have the same safety record, either.

Here is a website detailing some unscrupulous sellers who have been given FDA warnings.

Healing Dives: Diane Pechenick
Hyperbaric Options Greg Harris
Pressure Tech/Andi International Greg Betts
and others have received FDA warning letters.

I believe in transparency, open-ness, and empowering others. I am not going to ask people to PM me (besides all the time lost on both our parts), but publicly give sources to help them get the best deals on their own.

You can continue searching on your own.
Good luck, I will be adding new resources to this thread as I get them. I am in touch with oxyhealth. Next post will contain information from them, best deals from distributors, and a checklist when buying a used chamber or concentrator.

Anyone who has other good tips to add, please let me know.
