We have two cats who are strictly indoor.

Does anyone know of anything that I could use to treat the cats for parasites?

Like humans, I think it's important to also treat pets for parasites.

My cats are also both strictly indoor and both tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlicia, I think they likely got it from their mom.

I didn't think to test for parasites, but I completely agree with you, they should be treated for parasites too.

Poinetrmom, how did you treat your cats for Lyme and Ehrlicia?

The link you sent for a parasite medication looks good except the cost is $189.99, definitely not in my budget.

I gave the cats doxy, 50mg/day, hidden in a bit of canned cat food.

They seemed to feel better after about a month.

Now I give it for a week or so if it seems like they've lost their appetites

They're almost 14 and doing well!

Someone suggested, for dogs, so maybe a less for cats, grinding up 5 apple seeds a day with some dry food in a coffee grinder, and mixing it with wet food they like for a week. Says it cured 2 dogs (outdoor).

My indoor cat killed a white-footed mouse that got in the basement, and has been having some symptoms, and has been thoroughly treated for fleas & ear mites, so not that.

I am going to look for a coffee-grinder at goodwill or the SA and try it. I spent $100 at the vet's and he has no clue.
