Not to be gross, but let's just say I have the runs like I ate the cheapest, nastiest takeout ever. My LLMD added three supplements. Anyone get diarrhea from any of these?
1) Serrazimes (for serrapeptase) as a biofilm disruptor. Fillers are rice bran and cellulose.
2)magnesium glycinate, which is supposed to cause LESS diarrhea than other forms (I was taking magnesium malate before, but my blood tests showed that I was low in magnesium, so this form was supposed to be more bioavailable). Maybe TOO bioavailable?
3) Ferrasorb -- iron plus folate and B12. The folate is weird because I am also taking methylfolate for an MTHFR defect. I thought iron would have the OPPOSITE effect, you know?
I am hoping I don't have C. difff. I take Saccharomyces boulardii.
I take Ceftin and Azithromycin as my anitibiotics, but I've been on that combo 2 months and nothing like this happened! Aaaaargh! Heeeeellp!

Likely the magnesium. Try decreasing your dose and see what happens...

No, I didn't really have takeout. Was joking.
My doctor thinks it's a c.diff infection. Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes, I have experienced c diff. If it is c diff, it won't stop.
You have to have a stool sample tested at a lab to get the diagnosis. Or, you can give a sample at the ER. Then, you will know that day.
If it is c diff, you will have to stop antibiotics until you get it cleared up.

I also have diarrhea. Of the things you added, the only one I added was serrapeptase. Hmmm
