So i got a very small amount of neuropathy in my hands after taking tinidazole. Im pulsing the tini, so i want to take supplements to regenerate the nerves as good as possible in between the pulses. Currently the neuropathy subsides within 2 days. But what can i do to strengthen the nerves even further?
Im now going to up B complex and B12. Im a bit cautious of B6, since my last blood levels showed they were above normal level. And since B6 overdose can also result in neuropathy, i dont want to add more fuel to the fire so to speak. What else can i do? Lechitin?

I think alpha lipoic acid (sp?) is supposed to be good for diabetic neuropathy, so it might work for your situation as well.
You might want to google and see what you can find out about it.

Agree w/ Sonatina...
And Fish Oil (omega 3) is good for nerves, as is Vitamin B12, lecithin, St. John's Wort (watch out for drug interactions - ask your pharmacist), Helichrysum, etc.

I also have an unopened bottle of ALA laying around. Never got around to using it, so i will start that now too!

I have severe polyneuropathy.
Part of it was due to too much B6 from the constant advice that Lymies should take mega- B complex. If you are above normal even a little, please STOP taking any supps. and avoid foods with supplementation of it and never eat those foods or take B6 supps again. This includes most cereals except hot oatmeal. It can become serious and irreversible like mine and it makes other pain seem like a party by comparison. I am suicidal because of it. look up B6 toxicity forum if you want to read the horror stories.
R-lipoic acid is much better than ALA.
Benfotiamine is also very helpful for neuropathy. It is a lipidized form of vitamin B1 and it also put my Lyme Uveitis into total remission.
I've also found that animal fats make mine worse for some reason and I must eat much smaller meals.
I've read that Vicks Vaporub works good also, though most people use it on feet. For hands, I guess you'd have to wear gloves.
