Nature's Sunshine makes a chlorella that also has Chinese parsley in it. As far as the allergy question, you can be muscle tested.
Good Luck and Take Care....Terri
You want to take them away from meals if you want them to act as metal magnets in the intestinal tract. If you want to make sure you are getting rid of metals from the gut - take about 10 several times a day. You may want to start out slowly and then increase, -- muscle testing before taking them, as LymeBean said, is the best way to assure
tolerance.
I will be taking chlorella forever in order to eliminate the daily pickup of mercury, etc. I take many of them when flying or when I know I am exposed!
Good luck.

GiGi, I found out on Friday that I have elevated Mercury levels. LLMD said he would address this at our next visit so I didn't ask any questions. This is strange as I have composite fillings and no recollection of Mercury exposure. What are the symptoms of this problem and how is it treated?
Thanks
If your mother had amalgam fillings, it is passed down to the child via placenta and breastfeeding. Some infants are born mercury toxic, sadly.
Sources of Mercury: All Fish. Pesticide residue on vegetables. Pesticides on tobacco plants. Mercurial fungicides on seed grains. Coal burning (atmospheric). Pink coloring agent in dentures (cinnabar). Calomel (mercurous chlorides. Exterior and some interior paints. Plastic frames on eye glasses. Plastic trim in new cars. Pharmaceuticals. All U.S. manufactured vaccines and other injectables (flu shots, etc.) are preserved with mercury. Cosmetics (mascara), Preparation "H". Contraceptives
(vaginal spermacide gels and creams). Some contact lens cleaners (thimerisol. Over
4000 commercial uses. (This list is a few years old, but not much has changed yet).
The list of mercury toxin S Y M P T O M S is identical to Lyme Disease & Co. symptoms -in other words, the list is endless -- except that it is easier to detox mercury than to cure Lyme, but if you work on both, excess heavy metals and Lyme & co-infections, not forgetting the parasites and viruses) you have a good chance to get well.
It's hard work, yes, but it can be done as many can concur.
I hope that your doctor knows how to deal with metal toxicity. I would suggest you read some of my posts on this subject.
Good luck!
I am thinking to start up with the chlorella again, but was wondering if it may bind to the antibiotics in the tissues?
I would take it 4-6 hours after the antibiotics, but was thinking because it is supposed to bind to toxins and chemicals, possibly it would bind to the antibiotics that are in the tissues?
I am on the zithro and flagyl combo, and the zithro stays in the tissues for a few days, so maybe? that chlorella would bind to it in the tissues?
I am really craving the chlorella, so feel I must need it. Did take some the other day, and felt more energy. But wanted to ask on here what others think?
I am also thinking that I possibly have mercury still causing a problem... did have the mercury fillings out several years ago, and did do many a few years of aggressive drug and natural chelation, but have this gut feeling it is still causing a problem possibly... so thought of the chlorella and the cilantro.
I also made some homemade cilantro the other day... was craving this too, and boy did I get sick from it. MERCURY I thougth right away.
Thinking to do the low dose cilantro and some chlorella long term while on the antibiotics.
I also read that when killing bacteria it can sometimes?? stir up mercury. Not sure if this is correct.
I would be using the Sequel brand chlorella, I am here in canada, and have heard it is really good.
thanks,
Trish
I was going to write;
Sun Chlorella A by Dyno-Mills available at www.iHerb.com scrolled down and Lisa had already posted same info so there you have it!
My nautropath/herbologist highly recommended it. I must say it worked marvellously for me after living 2 years by a super high-powered substation and being radiated and having heavy metals!
GiGi,
You've given us some great info! THANKS!
