Our property is wooded and lots of deer. some people have professional sprayers come in. should we do it? Will this control ticks?

Buy Liquid Sevin, been using it for years with no ticks whatsoever on either my dog or my cat. You can get it at Wal-Mart.
It's cheap and VERY effective. You just attach it to your garden hose and spray away. I make the outer edges of my yard is especially sprayed. It will not bother your lawn and will also remove other unwanted pests as well.
