I was wondering if one is better than the other? I have used difulcan in the past and was wondering if I should try nystatin for remaining fungus? Has anyone tried both?

There has been a tremendious amount discussed already on this subject. I'd suggest the search key up under Post New Topic and us the Keywords, Nystatin, Difulcan.

Remember that diflucan and nystatin work differently. Nyststatin only works on the GI tract, and is not absorbed into the blood, Diflucan is. Both work great.
Dear Annie - Just a little FYI, Diflucan can interact with other meds, esp. coumadin..so make sure your LLMD is aware of all meds you are taking....nystatin less interactions as far as I know...
