Does anyone else experience with lyme which I have had this pain for 2 years and sometimes have ended me up in the hospital because I couldn't walk and they also last year gave me a full hysterectomy thinking that would help the pain but it was lyme and didn't help but made recovery worst. The pain is in my pelvis, groin, leg all the way down to my feet/toes and pins & needles in legs and arms. Been on abx for only 3 weeks and haven't felt any better or worst. Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy because somedays I feel little pain other days it's severe

Yes. I was told for years I have Pelvic Inflammotory disease, then they moved onto telling me I had fibroids, then to Perimenopausal syndrome,

then "we just dont know". Six months of abx took care of this for me.

I would have pain just like you described and ended myself in the hospital once with IV Cipro for that Pelvic infection... ( they really meant lyme)

Right before I got diagnosed, I was at the point that I couldnt MOVE wihtout giving myself what I coin "vaginal shooters". WAS NOT pleasant! All female areas swelled, etc.

I was in major pain.

Six months into abx, this problem went away THANK GOD, because I have lived with it since I got that darn.. Pelvic Inflammatory disease (add sarcasm here)

Three weeks of abx so far? Keep going!

Thanks for the reassurance, I too was told bursitis of the hips, one leg shorter than the other, muscle disease, and finally "i don't know all tests are negative, here are pain pills" and never called me back again or scheduled another appt. i was pretty much on my own until I seeked a llmd.

I too had unbelievable pain. Sometimes it felt like someone was pushing a straight edge razor about 8 inches long into my c-section scar. Sometimes it was agonizing groin pain, etc.

Was also told fibroids, perimenopause, etc.

Funny how it cleared up with abx.

I have the same kind of pain, and I don't have a uterus! So it can't be blamed on that!

I also have one leg shorter than the other. And by a remarkable coincidence, the other leg is longer than the one! I had a diagnosis of bursitis, but the arthritis medication just made me worse.

I am late-stage Lyme. I've "only" been on antibiotics since December. I just started IV Rocephin last week. I've seen enough improvement to conclude that Lyme Disease is the cause of my leg/pelvic/groin/feet pain. I have a long way to go. But I think this is the right course.

Be patient.

I hadve had sometimes extreme pain like period cramps but not at my period. Where its makes me so nasueous and I cannot stand up sit down lay down walk or anything without stabbing shooting pains in my period cramp area(I guess that would be my uterus). I just lay on the floor crying.......

ONly happened 3 or 4 times thank God

Take Care

Look up ankylosing spondylitis. It's an arthritis of the spine. The major symptom is lower back pain. I have had lower back pain since I was 14, that I always associated with female things, because it also cramped the muscles in the front.

Reactive arthritis is a type of ankylosing spondylitis caused by an infection. That could explain abx getting rid of the pelvic pain.

Since starting Levaquin to target salmonella, which my LLMD thinks caused my reactive arthritis, my herxes have included pelvic pain, as well as in my inner thigh.
