Left town right after you were to start on Babs protocol--ooops--almost couldn't remember--Clindamycin/Quinne.

Then ended up in hospital for 5 days. Just back home today.

Did you start it and how did you do ?

Hope it went well. Supposed to do it soon--as I told you---but not ready.

My goodness im sorry your were in the hospital. First of all how are you doing now?
I figured maybe you had went on vacation because i posted a post just to you.

Well so far so good Today is day ten. Tomarrow i start on ceftin for ten days.

Now first day i had hot and then cold times no fever though. Then i had headaches this Happened most every day but seem these last couple of days to lesson.
Weak muscles to point of pain if i moved them wrong. All over weakness more than before meds. Teeth hurt a tad and i got some ringing which i had before i took the meds. One night it was stronger but that also seems to have subsided to.

Joint muscles were more achey to. Actually it wasnt that bad perhaps i dont have a big load of babesia. I know i did get a reaction and it was in line with those who take mepron. Only not as sever. I Really felt a slight feeling of feeling better at first. I cant explain it but it was a change only i could notice. But that left im not sure why im wondering if i might be getting yeast. I think i have some generic acidopholos.
I also notice a feeling of asthma off and on. Like lyme these symptoms are mild to strong but so far not sever.

I didnt notice any thing when i took the quinine which i figured would be the rough thing but nada just eat something after cause its bitter.

That didn't sound so bad--so you do Ceftin next and not Rifampin ?

Glad the Quinne wasn't bad--was dreading that the most.

Before trip decided to go off Flagyl--got doc's permission to go back to Doxy for the trip. I do great on Doxy. Pharmacist said wait 3 days before making switch--

Waited - got on Doxy--started going downhill like a roller coaster out of control. Forced myself to take trip--husband drove--13 hrs--I kept getting worse--like pre-lyme before treatment. Then in the car I developed Uvitis--Opthamologist had script waiting for me at a drugstore in S.C.--

Continued to plunge--neurological--staggerring all over the place--weak--really felt like I was dying--pushed through trip --couldn't do much.

Scared my daughter to death--she hadn't seen me since Christmas.

Tried to lay low and shut up because didn't want to ruin the family reunion.

Got back sleeping in back of mini van--almost the whole time. Woke up next am--knew something wa sooo wrong. Didn't feel like a herx--just like --well-I don't know what.

So weak couldn't get from phone to bed. Husband took me to my PC--She admitted me. Thought my white count had dropped--but NO---

Have to say the docs at hospital were great--admitted they had never seen a Lymie--were anxious to call Dr. C.--he directed treatment to them--one big happy family !!!

Saw my PC-an infectious disease and had alot of senseless tests done--but-hey--what are you gonna do ? I was just so grateful for the care and co-operation.

Put on Clafaxan (sp) Iv--just came home today--feel better but weak and spine hurts.

Relapse ? Herx ? Switching abxs. like that and stress of trip probably.

It was scary and I feel unnerved. Settling down sorta.

Thank God for Dr. C.'s directing tx. and the docs in hospital being so willing to listen to him.

I go on Ceftin/Zithro. tomorrow. Been on that before but I have got to address the Babs--didn't test positive for it--had all symptoms and pos. for Erich.

Being treated clinically for it is my hang up--if I knew it was really there, I guess I,d tackle it but got to stabilize again.

This spine pain is the pitts. Ever have it ?

Yes on the back spine pain noticed it more with the babs treatment. Took my first ceftin today do that then at the end of all babs treatment take the ramphin.

The meds to me wasnt to bad i have herxed worse on the lyme. Maybe more lyme load than babs. Dont know,did do like tincup said tho the fourth day was worse but stil not sever.

Im like crime of lyme if i quit on every bad herx i would never take meds. I dont feel good with any meds period never have. It all puts me in bed. I dont know how some of these work jobs etc. maybe its my age i dont know.

But if im not keeping my head in the toliet and i can move to kitchen and bathroom i count myself lucky.

Glad the hospital cooperated with him.
I notice when im on meds tho i have no stamina nothing just going ten feet takes everything out of me. You on meds im sure it was hard on you.
