Hi I am wondering if chronic lyme can cause an elevated sed rate. I was treated for ms for 10 years with steroids 8 times and chemo once and was on all kinds of medication. I found a llmd who diagnosed me with chronic lyme and I improved to the point where I was 70 percent better. I have been on antibiotics for 2 and a half years just orals and 8 weeks ago I had severe neck stiffness , numbness feeling in legs, weakness arms and legs, tire easily upon doing anything everything is an effort again, severe anxiety, chest pressure where feels painful if touch my chest, shortness of breath, pain in left arm and severe knee pain. My pcp did a sed rate and it was highly elevated . DO you think I may be having nerve damage from all the wrong medications I was on? Does anyone know anyone who has had steroids before finding out lyme and if so what was the persons outcome? Thanks Tammy

Were you ever on flagle or a cyst buster. If not its possible that you are having a relaps which could be possible even with the cyst buster if you didnt get all the lyme killed. Also have you ever been treated for co infections which also could be a problem. Babesia is bad for neck problems i know i have had them all along. Just now after six years getting treated.

And now im having the numbness in legs. Soreness in the chest is also lyme related.
You didnt say if you have been on meds as of late or if you had quit. If you have been on meds lately perhaps your needed to change again.

I think that Lymetoo was on steroids before getting her chronic Lyme dx.

You may want to email her...her email is available, I think, above her posts here.

This has been a majore problem when dealing with Lyme being undiagnosed...the giving of steriods...big, big NO-NO.
