Has anyone used TOA free cat's claw for lyme?

Have you used it with antibiotics or alone? What were the results?

Been using it for almost three months now, along with abx, at my LLMD'S request. I use Prima Una de Gato, by Allergy Research.

I herxed big time off the Cat's Paw the first day. Had to build up my dosage gradually. My muscle aches are now a 1 on a scale of 1-10. My LLMD has cut my abx to half dose, and on a pulse regiment. So somethings working, and I'm not relapsing, but getting better...

I've been on the TOA free cat's claw for several months, without antibiotics. I have noticed some improvement, but not much. I did have a herx while on it, which surprised me. At least it seems to be getting some of the Lyme.

Hi,

My husband's doc just pulled up a reference for this from a research study.
What dose do you take? I seemed to remember someone here saying don't take it with ABX, but you guys are doing both so I assume that's ok?
Is it expensive?
thanks

I also use Prima Una de Gato, by Allergy Research. For the first 4 days I felt like I was coming down with the flu about 4-6 hours after taking 1 tab. Now I schedule it so the 4-6 hour period falls in the late evening and have few side effects. Only been taking it for about 2 weeks and no noticeable positive effects yet.

The guy at the health food store told me that one of his customers swears by it. His entire family is taking it for lyme. He is supposed to get the guys phone number for me.

We all are so different.!! I have been taking Samento for several months.... 600mg 02 1200mg a day. I think it is very helpful. I usually have the flu symptoms before I take it in the morning. After about 1/2 hour I feel much better. Now, I am taking it along with LOW antibiotics... that is Doxy 1 day a week, skip a day, BiaxinXL one day a week, skip a day, then Flagyl one day a week. Then stay off AB for a week, and start again., BUT take at least 600mg SAMENTO a day. I also take a variety of supplements..... I think the SAMENTO is a big help
