From what I read it can also be caused by meds, Erlichiosis, virus, B6 & B12 deficiencies. Also, poor protein intake.
The hard part is figuring out what the root cause is in your body.
Others with this problem can shed better light on this for you.
Just wanted to answer you with what I found. Best wishes, Jan

Hey fellow artist,I liked your art web site.I have been struggling with low WBC for a year and a half or so.I usually run around 3.6(normal is 4.5)but my last one was 3.1,ekkkkk!I had just gon higher on my meds and thats when the WBC dropped lower,I backed off and it returned to 3.6.(stuck between a rock and a hard place). You hear often how rocephin can drop your WBCs and I know when I take high dose orals mine drop. How low are yours. If they are to low you might want to avoid being around alot of peolpe so you dont catch anything and wash your hands more.Ive looked for things you can do but havent found much, except like Jan said take more b-vitamins,Joe

Hi Jan and Joe, thanks for the information! I don't know how low they are, I am terrible about asking for details....
I will ask my doctor. he redid my test for ehrlichia because of this so I think he may suspect a chronic case of it?
Anyway I'm only on Cedax and Zithromax so I am not sure what would cause this suddenly - since I have been on them for 3 months now.
