I used to get them, but from what I have heard I wouldn't dare.
Do a search on flu shot and see what you find I am sure there is stuff there.
One girl I spoke with hasn't been right since a flu shot and was recommended to get it, cause she was high risk.
I won't get my son done either.
My husband gets done at work for free, so he has less chance to bring stuff home.
I used to work in long term care, and we were pressured to get it, but ad clearly states, not for people with neurological disorders. When I was in better health, I found them helpful. I wouldn't chance it now.
Something to think about.

Took it last year on my LLMDs advice, but I'm sticking to my guns this time.
My immune system has enough to deal with.
RX Amantadine taken immediately will help and many natural antivirals available like Olive Leaf Extract, Beta Glucans 1/3, 1/6 by Solaray; or Lysine amino acid.
Shotless & fluless,
Jan
This was before I was diagnosed or treated.
Makes you wonder.
My son had his first flu shot last year also (1 1/2 yrs) and had no problems
There were too many children dying of the flu last year....My sister's daughter caught it (same age as my son) and stopped breathing for a few minutes!
That really made me wake up and realize my son and our family needed to get the vaccination to try and keep it from my son
We (including my son) were around several different people (after our vaccinations) who supposedly ended up sick with the flu right after and none of us ended up getting sick.
Then again, the flu shot wasn't supposed to work that well for the type of flu that was going around last year...so it could have just been the grace of God that kept us from getting ill.
I did get a tetanus shot about 3 weeks ago though. I had fallen against a very rusty spike in the ground holding a tent up. The tetanus shot hurt for over a week. It hurt to move my arm and the area where the shot was done was a huge bump and hurt so badly (it also itched at the same time).
IT'S IN THE VALLEYS I GROW
Sometimes life seems hard to bear,
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then I have to remember
That it's in the valleys I grow.
If I always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
I would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain.
I have so much to learn
And my growth is very slow,
Sometimes I need the mountain tops,
But it's in the valleys I grow.
I do not always understand
Why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing.
My Lord will see me through.
My little valleys are nothing
When I picture Christ on the cross
He went through the valley of death;
His victory was Satan's loss.
Forgive me Lord, for complaining
When I'm feeling so very low.
Just give me a gentle reminder
That it's in the valleys I grow.
Continue to strengthen me, Lord
And use my life each day
To share your love with others
And help them find their way.
Thank you for valleys, Lord
For this one thing I know
The mountain tops are glorious
But it's in the valleys I grow!
(This poem was written by Jane Eggleston who currently lives in Virginia. Her son Jeff states, "She is a wonderful person, loves Jesus and has been the best mother anyone could ever ask for." What a fitting tribute to any mother.)
God Bless Each and Every One of You,

I had a really bad reaction to the pneumococcal shot...so this year, I'll take my chances...no shots.
The pneumococcal shot is supposed to last for five years, thank goodness!
Do what feels best for you.
lifeline
Still got the flu....
Took Tamiflu...
Felt better than I had in over a year...wonder if there's a connection with the Tamiflu...
BTW.....All tetanus shots hurt and ache for about a week after you get them...That's why kids hate getting them so much....It's why I hate getting them too...No fun.
The only year I didn't get one - I suffered ALOT!!! All docs - PCP, LLMD and CFIDS recommended.
Last year, I got both - pneumococcal shot and a flu shot.
No probs w/ either!
Whole family got the flu shot and nobody got the flu or had bad reaction!!
Just us though -
Sherry

I watched my mother lose her mind after getting one and it took 3 1/2 years for her to get back to normal.
I know people who have been paralyzed by them.
And I don't buy the "it's a dead virus" routine.
Years ago (1918 for instance) people died from the flu, but they did not have the myriad drugs we have today to combat the side effects.
The vaccine you get this year may not have any effect on the virus that spreads this year as they may be only closely related.
Also, I have heard that the shot is only effective for two weeks after receiving it.
If you haven't gotten the message, I vote a loud "NO" for the flu vaccine.
Just my opinion of course.
