I also figure that I need to increase my magnesium levels, but I want to do that naturally if possible. What foods if any are rich in magnesium?
For the brain fog? Any food suggestions for that?
I have somewhat of a phobia about taking supplements. I keep reading how if you take one it throws somthing else out of kilter, or can be toxic if overdosed. In my mental state, I'm not sure I can keep it all straight. Plus I don't trust that they may find something wrong with taking some of the supplements down the line...like when they discovered L-triptophan (spelling is wrong)...the stuff in milk and turkey that makes you sleepy....it was determined that the supplement was harmful, I also read Kava is harmful, I'm not sure what to believe and don't want to take the chance right now.
I to am kinda leary about taking supplements and have looked up good foods like you for the immune system and so on. There was a post about blueberries and it seems they are excellent for the immune system. Cilantro also helps move out toxins like metals and such from your body. 1/4 cup of Walnuts have the same omega 3 faty acid as 3 oz of salmon which is very important for the brain. Stay away from man made sugar. Carbs in general should be kept to a minimal since lyme and yeast feed on carbs. Beef, which should be eaten lean and not often, actually is good for the immune system.
