Ok now this is just freakin me out! I keep smellin something like old icky food almost every where I go and no one else smells it. What the heck is goin on?

For me some abx combinations did this. With Clarithromycin there was an icky taste, too- kind of metallec, in that case. Other combis yielded all kind of ranges of tastes. Rotten food tastes sometimes, too, but always with a "toxic chemical pvertone". DaveS

hi! I have had this too.I have stages where I can smell everyones breath real strong and it is not good.I kept complaining that my husbands breath was so bad and when he asked others they said no it was OK.So for some reason we can develop smell irregularities.Quite normal as lyme goes,

Olfactory hallucinations are common with lyme. I got them when I was herxing, alot
I constantly smelled bleach and burning wires. I still do from time to time.

My husband smells wet ashes from time to time. Yet I'm the one with the "BB" Bad Brain.
Dr. Brian Fallon discusses this as "sensory hyperacusis" involving taste, touch or smell. Smells may seem overly intense & noxious.
The ABX are hitting one of your cranial nerves I guess.

Hey BB,Yep I smelled stuff and told my hubby we had a dead rat somewhere around(Cat stays busy)...Well he search high ,low,down under...nothing..it was me and this crazy stupid wretched Lyme.
Yes I still have it ...drives me crazy.Hope you are better.

i am the same way i smell stuff before any ofmy family the link above do you think this would be good to give to my disability company or let them do the leg work, i don't want to give them to much cause they are not going to review it what are your thoughts?
