My regular doctor and infection disease doc are trying to find out what type of infection I have from a sexual exposure I had about one year ago.

Recently for last two months when they did a test on me , my CRP leve keeps increasing and so does my Alkalin Phosphate level. In two weeks my ALT jump from 150 to 180 and CRP from 8 to 10. My doc says its normal.

THey dont think I have lyme disease. I dont know why they dont test me for it.

What should I do, should I demand a lyme test and go to the hospital ?

I am only 20 years old male and at this age I shouldnt be suffering from heart problem or anything because I never had any health problem, its all after sexual exposure.

What should I do ?????

This isn't enough info to go on. What other symptoms do you have? Why are you so sure sexual exposure was the only avenue of infection? Was your partner definitely infected with LD, or with anything else? What have you ruled out in terms of infection or other causes of heart disease?

My C Reactive Protein level was up too.

Also had chest pains.

Regular docs couldn't figure it out.

Only answers I have now have come from an LLMD.

After spending upteen thousands of dollars going to 'specialists' including the Mayo never got answers until Lyme test from IGENEX lab in California.

My gp tried to send me to an infectious disease doc here in town but I chose a doc with help from this website.

Can't stress enough that it was the right way to go for me.

Good luck!!!
