My son used to get this, sometimes only in one ear. I always associated it with his food allergies.

One of the first things Dr. Jones noticed in my grandson were his red ears....apparently fairly common to see in kids with lyme. He had no coinfections!
Better that than a red nose, I guess!

I get this occasionally too. Feels like the flush that you get when you take Niacin. I put cold compresses on them and it helps.
Be well, DawnE

I used to get this all the time too. Didn't hurt, though.
Are you doing better now, Jodie??

Every afternoon I get the red hot ears. sometimes disrupting my vision even worse than usual. Nice bit of ear pressure too. Really gives you that "sick" feeling. chime
