You are definitely not alone. My name in on the Canlyme website as a contact from Ontario. I live in Ottawa. I get a least one or two emails every week from people with Lyme searching for info about Lyme and LLMD doctors in Ontario.
The infectious diseases doctors think it is rare and that you cannot get it here but it is not rare and they are wrong. You can get it here. I did! It was four years before I was diagnosed.
