I just had a baby 6 weeks ago. I'm currently on Omnicef and Zithromax and sort of having a flare of symptoms...doesn't really feel like a herx though. I was tested for Bartonella, but not through a reputable lab.
I'm just wondering if the swollen nodes are normal for Lyme? If not, should I be concerned about something else? Just a little worried.....
Thanks
Michelle
I can't answer your questions, but I can tell you that one of the first things my daughter's LLMD did when examining my daughter was to feel for swollen lymph nodes.
To me, that indicated that swollen lymph nodes are most probably common with Lyme.
Sorry for the lack of info, but thought I would respond as well as I could.

I've had swollen lymph nodes for over 2 years, to the point where one duck operated to do a biopsy. They're still swollen now (neck, groin, etc). I tested positive for lyme and negative for bartonella.
Just my experience!

i never tested positive for bart...but had all the symtoms and reacted to the meds, same with both my kids...testing negative dosnt' mean you don't have it...
swollen glands is definitely a sign of bart..especially in diffferent parts of body other than neck...talk to an lllmd about it..calls for special meds..
