1) the office support people openly discussed ensuring that patients were properly billed, so they've probably, and hopefully, been addressing some recent issues;
2) patients are getting excellent results from ketek, you just haven't heard about it because they aren't on Lymenet;
3) the LLMD was so responsive and helpful, and they've incorporated a lot of new abx and supplements, like TOA-free cat's claw, over the last few months. When the LLMD heard that artemisinin was working on my babesia, she quickly offered a full-blast dose of mepron, to just hit it and get it over with.
So whatever may have been going on there earlier this year, my subjective experience was that they were overloaded before, and are now getting back on an even keel.
That does not excuse the problems some people may have been having AT ALL. I just wanted to say, this visit was an unusually productive, professional experience, so I had to report it, if only to apologize for my own past griping and express my gratitude for being 90% better.
Are there 3 LLMDs in that office? I thought there's 1 and 2 PAs?
I see an MD who also has 2 other partners. It is really comforting to know that I can see one of the others when my MD is at the hospital or otherwise unavailable. They also have 5 nurses on staff who are all very knowledgable and helpful. One nurse comes in on Saturdays & Sundays for those who need assistance with IVs. It makes a huge difference when a staff is not overworked and stressed out.
Take care.
