What's the general consensus for persons with LD getting a flu shot??

Anyone have problems? No problems?

NOT!!!

The last thing you want to do is inject your body with a whopping dose of mercury... yes, mercury.

No DONT! the flu shot still containes Thimerosal (mercury) and that is a neurotoxin. It is bad bad bad for healthy people and worse for people who are not.

I got my one and only flu shot last year and got the flu from it. I was sick as ever. Felt like a constant herx - could hardly move. So, not for this gal.

Nope, not me....the first batch they "admitted" to being contaminated. What about all the batches they didn't "catch?

I started getting the flu shot the 2nd year I was sick (been 5 now). The 1st yr the flu knocked me out completely and I have kids I have to take care of. So, I started getting the shot ea yr. I have never had a rxn- although they are possible. This yr I'm still waiting for mine. My dr says she's holding one for me. (I am very high risk for several reasons.)

I did follow the above links and am not sure what to think. However, on the issue of Autism and vaccines...my oldest has Autism. I was skeptical of vaccines with my other two. Their pediatrician (one of the very few drs I totally trust) believes the connection has been disproven time and time again. So, I do give my kids other vaccines, but not the flu. Since they aren't at high risk of it.

Anyway, everyone has to make their own decision. Just thought I'd add my experience.

Nope. Not for me. Why?

#1, They are loaded with Mercury.

#2, It is a guess every year as to which "flu" might hit.

#3, In order to completely cover your "flu" bases, you would need about 300 vaccines to cover all of the possible "flu"s.

#4, Why inject yourself with any type of virus? We have enough going on as it is.

We are going with the Vitamin C and Garlic route as preventative measures this flu season. No one ever gets the flu from those precautions.

None of the flu shot this year is from the lab where the vaccine was contaminated. That was a British lab, and the British government took away any license or authorization for them to distribute the vaccine this year.

My LLMD told me to get the vaccine because I have a history of asthma and am on Ketek, which can aggravate respiratory issues.

Hi All,
I started getting flu shots 6 years ago when Dr. said I needed to stay strong for my mom who I was caring for. Before that, NEVER would consider a shot.

I used to get the flu and be horribly sick for many years. But since that first shot, and one every year since, I have not gotten the flu.

Got my shot 3 weeks ago and not a sniffle or achey joint. (Still have the lyme brain, but that is another story!) Several others are getting very ill from flu already, and the season is not yet in full gear.

Just wanted to add my experience: I know it worked for me. But I do believe that everyone needs to do what they feel best for them.
