I have been DX w/ lyme . . .I think! The Dr. that replaced Dr. H. in Houston refuted Dr. H's treatments and work. So, I was told no Lymes. Even though my WB is positive . . .she wants me to take the Bowen test.

I cannot find anyone to help me! So, I am taking Cat's Claw out of desperation!

Anyway, I have begun drooling out of the right side of my mouth. It is slightly droopy . . .Bell's Palsy? Also, weird head pain on the left temple side of my head. Feels like a major brain freeze that last forever! Can this be Herxing or part of my current flare-up because the "Claw" just ain't doing it? I am so confused!

I really have given up. Unless something falls off or quits working, I will not see a doctor. I cannot keep doing this (five years in the making) to myself.

thank you!!!!

Hey LBG. Do a search in medical for cranial nerves posted by Tincup. It's got some great info that might help.

Also welcome to the Drool Club!!!

I drool from time to time and have some left side of face and neck palsy plus a host of other symptoms.

Read another post of yours about the doc that took over for your LLMD in Houston.

Have you thought of searching for another LLMD in your area or near by??

I travel 6 hours to see mine but it's well worth it.

Don't know anything about Cat's Claw reactions but a search on this site might help with that too.

Good luck!

Hi,
I see an NP in Austin for my Lyme who apparently has taken on many of Dr. H's patients. If interested, let me know and I'll email you her info.

I was unaware that anyone has "replaced" Dr. H. Are you referring to Dr. S.?

Regarding drooling, yes, that was one of my earlier symptoms. At the time I also had swallowing and choking problems. This resolved more or less on its own over time as other symptoms became more prevalent, but I still have weakness in the corners of my mouth from time to time. I'm sure at these times the lyme is attacking the 5th cranial nerve or whichever one it is.

And it certainly is part of lyme -- or whatever it is we have.
