Does anyone else out there have "air hunger"? It is the only way I can describe it but I just can't get enough air. All of my tests are normal but this drives me crazy and lasts for days at a time. Does anyone know anything about this????

I've had it too, for the first few weeks of IV rocephin. My LLMD would ask at each visit whether I had any shortness of breath, and I'd try to explain that it wasn't that...air hunger describes it exactly.
I don't know why it happens, but it did stop.

Just have a minute, but wanted to ask if you've been checked for Babesiosis. Air hunger is a symptom.
You can read about it in "Diag Hints & Treat Guidelines..." at www.ilads.org/burrascano_1102.html Print a copy if you don't have one. Piroplasmosis (Babesiosis) begins on page 17 or 18.
