Is that too much or a good idea. I like the thought of the garlic keeping the yeast away but I know it also has ABX properties. Patti

Garlic is very powerful; totally underestimated. I could clearly see it making a substantial difference. I took various diffrent brands and forms. I felt the ones I got from our food co-op, Greenstar, were very helpful and not too expensive- they were clear gel-caps that smelled very garlicky. However, I also tried the ultimate- chewing up and choking down raw garlic. It's pretty strong, but I felt it was even more effectivel I have read that the mere you chew it, the better, as this releases "alicin", the substance thought to be responsible for many of garlic's good effevts. I am fairly sure that it's helpful symptomatically, as well as anti-yeast and anti-biotic to some extent, too- unlike mny other meds.. It was prescribed along with artimesia anua, as rhe natural part of the regimine for babesia ( I also took the "regular med" atovaquone, as 'malarone', sometimes alternating with, sometimes together with, garlic and artimesia anua/artimisinin-- one should take breaks, with the artimesia.)
