I posted in the general support board but realize that questions about abx might be more appropriate here...

I went to my LLMD for a checkup today and the Cefzil just wasn't working. She put me on zithromax and amoxicillin (oral) for the next month to see how that works, then I'll go back and if it wasn't helping yet try something else..if it helps, continue and monitor symptoms.

What have your experiences been with this combination? Any tips? Warnings?

I know everyone responds differently to things but it's still helpful to know.

Hi algr,

Few days ago, I took zithro/amox on the same day (for the first time) and broke out in rash.

That is the combo Dr. J gave my daughter for 9 months and it worked for her very well.
