Well, I'm back from the first Lyme Out Retreat that was held this weekend. After months of organizing and preparations, spending days running around trying to get everything together, and worrying about things turning out okay everything went wonderfully. It was really an amazing experience. Everyone that came was wonderful and just the experience of having so many people who really understand each other in the same place for three days was indescribable.
I'm pretty tired out from it all but I did manage to get my pictures loaded onto my computer so here are a few.
The whole group together Sunday morning after breakfast
Yoga on Sunday morning
Mmmm...good food!
The circle around the fire where we had some sharing circles
Arts and Crafts!
Saturday night's dinner
That's just a little sample of what the weekend was like. It was really a wonderful experience and I'm so glad everything turned out well. We had a fairly small group (about 18 people) but it was a good size for this first retreat. We figured out some of what works and what doesn't and really made strong connections with everyone there. I'm planning on having another one at the same camp in North Oxford, MA in May 2005 (six months or so away). When I start with more definite plans (probably after the holidays) I'll put up more info about it!
Peace and healing,
Annie

Glad it all went well and you posted. I kept checking the site to see how things went.

Seriously though can you supply any names from this site that those of us in the far reaches of the country might recognize?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has no idea who the folks in the group photo are.

That's it for me now. I'm really tired from the long week I had leading up to the retreat and the long weekend of being up and around so I'm spending the week in bed (except for Thanksgiving of course!).
Peace and healing,
Annie
