I am in NY, having just visited Dr. B.

He wants me to start Bicillin. As I can't get it in the UK, can someone please advise the cheapest pharmacy in NY for this?

I called Costco and they said they don't even have it.

I only have 2 more days here in NY before returning to the UK, so time is of the essence.

I've been reading your postings for a while and it sounds like we are the Bicillin veterans.
Presumably you are asking about an alternate source for Bicillin LA (Penicillin G Benzathine). Depending on your location, one option would be to pick it up south of the border. Lots of people on social security do this. The name is Benzetacil 1.2 IU (they don't have 2.4 IU) and it costs about $2.00 per dose. It's dispensed as a powder that you mix with bacteriostatic water (included) or 1% Lidocaine.

Let me know if that is not practical because I know of other options that I can send you via e-mail.

I ended up getting it (phew, finally) from a pharmacy in Yonkers. If anyone needs their details, email me.

They will even pack it in ice in a cooler-box for me for travelling.

I'm sure a LOT poorer than $2 a shot though now. Mine were about 24 times that price.
