I am supposed to add Plaquenil to my current combo of ketek/Mepron/Artemisinin.
I have heard both sides: Yes, it can be done and no, it is too toxic to take Plaq with Mepron.
So what am looking for is folks who have done this combo with out any harm.
My LLMD says it is ok, but I am still scared for some reason........ I do trust my LLMD but I want to be absolutely sure this is ok to do.........nothing like personal experience to reassure that it is ok...... thanks for sharing yours..........
What combo is plaquenil usually given with?

i meant plaquenil with mepron. I think plaquenil and ketek are ok ..... it's the mepron I am worried about.

Thnaks for the link..........I guess sme can handle it and some can not. Scary to wonder which I might be. I have a week off mepron starting tomorrow so I will start the plaquenil while I am on the week off mepron. During this week I continue with the ketek and add doxy for the week.
ANyone done this kind of thing where they add doxy for the wek off mepron?

COud it be that it is different for each person? My doc really said it was ok......But docs don't know everythng........
