I would swear that there were times when my yeast was totally under control when I used certain abx's in the past. Some of them even made my oral thrush go away completely. My question is: Antibiotics literally means anti-life, so does that include fungus because it is alive too. If so, that would explain why the yeast got much more out of control when I stopped abx because there was nothing killing yeast any longer and I didn't have the good bacteria either. Just muttering to myself and trying to figure out this puzzle.

Hi Greg,
From what I was told. The yeast can get better when you start abx, because it helps your immune system to work better, and it's fight against yeast.
But you still have to help it with adding good bacteria.
This is still all very new to me. I am learning as I go
Good luck, Lisi

My yeast has gotten much better since starting Ketek. A few weeks ago I stopped Augmentin, and now Ketek is the only abx I'm on. All thrush is gone.
My LLMD thinks Ketek may kill babesia. If so, maybe it kills yeast as well?
