There was an ad in our newspaper about this new center opening up... I called and they said that they have a lot of Lyme patients...
Basically, they do a lot of research (blood work) on you to find cause of fatigue... Thyroid, Adrenals, viral infection (mycoplasma, etc.). The lady told me that they are MD's that treat.
Anyone had experience with this center? The one I am referring to is in Utah, but it sounds like they have locations in different states. The official name is The Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center.
Thanks!
Shelly

There are 8 centers in the US, I went to one in Denver. Dr. LaBair is very knowleable about LD and consults with the founding doctor/LD patient since his high school in CA.
They don't take Medicare and didn't opt out, so it's illegal for me to be treated there.
They have a Quest lab on each site, which bills your insurance directly.
The first visit is $320, next $160. Their supplements are O.K., but not potent enough for LD. IVs are very basic vitamin/mineral/silver preparations.
I think they can help you, but don't plan on magic.
Good luck!

Think i read about this. I was shocked to see that people that 90% of the people that went to this that were diagnosed with CFIDS / fibro were found to have LYME.
Amazing. Very upset at this society with their smart smart doctors that are very arrogant and think they know it all and just want to drug you.

My, what an interesting post!
Punkie, where are the other 8 centers in the USA besides Utah and Denver?
Thanks! Betty G.

The Century Wellness Center in Reno seems to claim that everyone through their doors has Lyme. I went like 6 years ago (knowing I had Lyme as they had lots of ads claiming a cure for Lyme) and my sister took me. She has Diabetes so she did some testing. they said she had Lyme. As the woman never goes outside, I really doubt it. I think in this case, she was scammed and made to worry unneccesarily. I didn't get any help there. Yes, I think Lyme is way underreproted. But, some of these places are over reporting it with the use of the dark field microscope.
