I was VERY happy to get mine out- and I hope you will be too! I really didn't feel very bad after the surgery- no vomiting or anything like that except for a few cramps. I was actually very surprised that I felt so good. How will you be having it done- I was cut but I heard that vaginally and laproscopically is a lot easier. The only thing is that the recuperation is very slow- like a month or so. I remember thinking that I'd never get back to my old self- but I did. Just take it real easy- don't carry anything or push yourself too much, too soon or you'll relapse and that's not good! Good luck and think happy thoughts-it'll be alright!

I hope and pray for a good outcome and complete healing, puke free!

I'm with you on that one.

Good luck tomorrow.

Is the liquid diet anything good? Like a chocolate shake, or something a little stronger.

Hope your surgery goes very easefully and you recover quickly.

Not everybody get nauseous with morphine. Will you have control over how much you use? That is the best, then you can use just enough to be comfortable.

Best wishes

Lynette, I didn't see your post until now.

I know your operation went well today. I would have also recommended an epidermal w/it. It sure helped me on my last major surgery.

As said, do NOT overdo it; don't lift, vacuum, pick up stuff, etc. You'll pay dearly if you do.

Since my same surgery, I have had TERRIBLE pain in that area and my entire stomach area. For 2-4 years, I couldn't even touch those areas ... major pain.

Dx since 7-04; misdx 34 years; now it makes more sense to me.

Best wishes for a complete recovery.
