I just received MY Igenex results. I'm not CDC positive but Dr. C said I have Lyme. I have more positives on the IgM. He said that is common with chronic Lyme patients. I have my 1st appointment with Dr. C on March 8th.

My symptoms are:

daily headaches
chronic sinus/nasal problem
insomnia
neck/shoulder pain
yeast problems

I've had headaches and chronic sinus problems since I was 17. My neck/shoulder pain has been getting really bad in the past few years. I've been to PT and the chiropractor but neither helped much.

Last fall I noticed when I was on Zithromax for a sinus infection, my neck/shoulder pain was better. I was treated for another sinus infection a couple of months ago with Zithromax. My shoulder pain was really bad at that point. Since the Zithromax (just 6 pills) the pain was better again. The pain was keeping me from sleeping even with pain medication. I can tell that it's getting worse now.

I'm anxious to see Dr. C to find out what to do from here.

It is an on going battle to get help for us all. You are on the right track!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness Pab!

I guess I should say I'm sorry, and I am..but at the same time find it so perplexing how wide spread this illness is, and how it can be so insideous, 99% of the time go unidentified..till you yourself figure it out.

In any event, I think the definate up side, and a big one, is that you understand so much of this disease.

So I'm torn between being sorry and being glad you know what you are fighting against in you and the boys.

I am sorry about that chronic pain, I had it a long time in my neck..enough to need pain meds..and it has gone after long term treatment of Bb and Babesia.

I'm so glad you have Doc C.

Peggy,

Not you too! I am so sorry to hear that, BUT, you will get the help you need!

After years of abx treatment and tossing in some alternative therapies, the improvments have been great!

I am near pain free for 3 out of 4 weeks in a month, which I feel is great! After this last bout in October, I moved forward without abx and used just alternative therapies....I am doing ok!

Doc will get you there too!

In our conversations in the past, I wondered about you and the issues you had indicated to me. My guess is that you were in the middle of it, trying to help the boys and not recognizing what was going on with you!

How are the boys doing? I do think of you all often but have not had any time to communicate with anyone! Work has been extremely busy, now it is year end, we put an addition on the house and was burning the midnight oil to get it all done by January 1st., when I had Christmas for my side of the family, let alone running with the kids and all they are involved in! It was wonderful to work all day at work, attend ballgames, work until midnight several nights a week and still continue to do well! The old me is around!

Give me an update sometime!

Again, I am sorry but happy for you that you now at least have some explaination for the issues that you have dealt with!

Happy New Year!

JJ
