Hello everyone,

I'm just curious to know if anyone has read or tried The PH Miracle diet by Robert and Shelly Young.

My doctor recommended the book to me and I've been reading it and it does make a lot of sense. The theory is sugar, carbs, and yeast products create havoc in our system.

I cut sugar for three days now and I swear, my legs and ankles don't feel as stiff and I see a 30% improvment in the way I feel.

Any tips or suggestions??

Nancy

Hi Nancy,

I've always had problems with sugar making me stiff. It's probably something to do with yeast-when I stay away from sugar the stiffness always improves.

Only suggestion that I have is to keep avoiding white sugar and white flour and other processed foods. Eat healthy carbs like brown rice and quinoa and don't overdo those.

Watch out for wine, beer and alcohol. I also have problems with dairy, eggs and a few other things so these days I live on a pretty limited yeast free, sugar free, lo-carb, dairy-free, wheat-free diet along with no tomatos, citrus and other assorted stuff. Pretty boring. But I have lost 20 lbs since I've been eating that way. And interestingly as soon as I added some carbs back in I stopped losing weight but didn't gain either.

I'm not familiar with the pH book-but it sounds like it makes sense to me.

Shanna

I think their book is now called Sick and Tired. Or they have two books.

Miracle II products also help neutralize pH and their soap is without chemicals &c.

pH balancing and bio compatible soap BIG help to me; enables my body to work with and make better use of antibiotics and medical treatments.

Wonder what GiGi says...
