I have a friend who has been dxed with cfs
and mcs, but had a positive lyme test with
Igenex. How can one really determine what is
what?

I read about CFS, (it sounds a lot like lyme), but others can get mcs. Do lyme patients have mcs as well? What happens if
they can't tolerate drugs?

CFS is a cluster of symptoms and not an actual disease. I don't know what cfs is.

A positive lyme test from Igenex means your friend has lyme. It is one of the best labs.

WELCOME To LYMENET

Here's more goodys! A typical response to newcomers.

Hi and WELCOME! Get a LLMD or at least Dr that is willing to learn about lyme. Borrelia Burgdorferi is a clinical diagnosis, based on symptoms and on your response to treatment. Good Luck, bumpy road ahead.

Post for a LLMD in Seeking a Doctor. Ps remember I am not a Dr, just a fellow sufferer.
