Does anyone have any advice on how to get someone (that is in denial) the treatment that they so desperately need?
Please feel free to email me.

You COULD use the oldest trick in the book.
Give him some of the literature about how Lyme can be found in semen, the uterus, the blood,.. blah blah blah.
Tell him the spirochete that causes Lyme is the cousin to the one that causes syphlis.
Explain to him that many noted doctors are concerned for the spouses of Lyme patients (sexual transmission) and have had to treat spouses for Lyme even when they didn't have tick bites.
Tell him until he addresses the Lyme problem properly, he might as well keep his pants on... cause none of this, you're gonna git.

I'm so depressed by losing my ability to concentrate, my energy, my zest for life, (did I say my energy??)can't attend to friendships, no significant other to commiserate, no understanding from family, etc etc etc ---I'm sure you all know the mindset.
I actually do not believe that I will ever get better. I don't know why I feel that way, but that's how I feel. And yes, I am taking an antidepressant - all it does it make me feel more exhausted.
sorry, I highjacked this thread - I couldn't remember how to operate the clutch the other day - (and yes, I still have enough brain to know that I drive a standard). Often can't remember what gear I'm in (fortunately the motor tells me)...
Water faucet, eh? Yup, tell him to come here. Leave literature around the house quietly, as though you are the one who has been reading it, but dont' say a word. I bet you'll find him reading it when he thinks you've left the room. Especially if he has to keep his pants on ...might as well read his way back into your favour..(chortle)

Us men, wish you women would show a little originality. This ruse has been used far too long.
How about something men really fear ? Like hiding our remote control, asking us for our credit cards, or making us hang around the house while you host a MaryKay party ?
Oysters ? Sure you wanna' use oysters as symbolic of men's stupidity ?
