I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about how to get Vitamin B - specifically B12 but also the others as well.

Currently I take a B-50 vitamin that I purchased at the supermarket. I am thinking that it is junk. It turns my urine bright yellow but I haven't noticed any improvements otherwise.

Also, I have a VERY hard time swallowing it and I "dry heave" even thinking about taking it. The smell makes me nauseous and I often gag and wretch for hours if I do manage to swallow the monster pill.

Any suggestions? Is there a better name brand that I could be taking? What about IM injections - are those just B12 or is there an injection that includes the other B's as well?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Why not listen to your body?

Our instructions were not to take oral B-complex. B12 sublingually does some good.
B-Complex orally is super food for parasites. They get most of it and thrive.

We never take it orally. I was taught to give B complex and B12 and some others (B1, etc) as needed by injection. That was one of the early meds that got me out of one hole. I had a lot others to get out of after that. But eventually all worked.

Take care.

Go careful with B12 as some of them contain yeast. The yeast free ones contain "Cyanocobalamin" and you should be able to pick this up at most health shops.

I asked my LLMD for the B12 injectable- it has constant refills on it so whenever I'm running low, I just call the pharmacy.

Methylcobalamin (B12) is the one to be used by most practitioners/doctors.
Also, if you use any B Complex, etc., be sure to only use the preservative-free.

in order to absorb the b vitamins, you MUST have good bowel bacteria.

I have read this a few times in some very good books of mine.

Antibiotics induce a biotin deficiency so you must make sure you get the probiotics in you. Also some kind of live culture food.

Vitamin K I think also needs good bacteria to be made. Something like this.

SO! bottome line is, you can get lots of vitamins from food, but you must have your
friendly bacteria in balance in your intestines.

I think the antibiotics also deplete nutrients so that is why they tell you about a good vit.min supp.

If your hair is not healthy, many times it can be because of an imbalanced intestinal track.

I remember several years ago, I went on a very good probiotic and within one year my hair had never looked so good. So much thicker, and shinier.

NOW, on antibiotics my hair is sooo terrrible. I had stopped eating my homemade yougurt like I use to, was sick of it, but now back on it... as the hair is lifeless, and so fragile.

A good probiotic for me is not enough I am finding out on long term antibiotics, I have to eat my homemade yogurt a few time a week. I just got sick of yogurt and stopped it.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions and info! It is nice to know that there are other options instead of having to gag down those pills every day.

Gigi,

WHy do the inj B vit have to be presevative free? They have to have preservatives in them if they are going to be drawn from more than 1 time.

Most often, only 1 ml is used at a time. That would be a huge waste to use a 30ml bottle only a few times before it was no good.
