On a test ordered by a lupus doctor my

IgG and IgM on a blood test for anti-cardio lupin anti-bodies was positive for both.

Is the IgG and IgM on these tests the same IgM and IgG as found with the western blot or are they different things?

My ANA was negative but DNA postive. It has recorded on the blood test, tested by Elisa method.

Maybe someone with more expertise will come along, but I think the IgG and IgM refers to a process....or type of testing.

I was positive for anticardiolipin antibodies early in my Lyme treatment. I later tested negative after about a yr of treatment. That's all I know about it!
