My husband has been having consistently high levels of hemoglobin. He does not smoke and never did. When he gets his bloodwork done at the lab, they say that his blood is also thick and they have a real problem drawing the blood. Could this be a symptom of babesia?

I'm not well-versed on hemoglobin, but I do know something about hypercoagulation of the blood. He needs to have an ISAC panel done to check his blood coaguation.
