Hey..

In Chinese medicine one of the basic things they look at is your fingernails and your toungue.

You should have nice half moons on your thumb, and first three fingers (not your pinky).

Also, you should stick your toungue out, and any indents on the sides (look like teeth marks) are also a sign..

They see both these things in most Cancer patients..and is a sign I understand of poor oxygenation to tissue/cells.

I'm wondering how many Lyme patients have this?

A Chinese Herb used to treat this facet of illnes is Astragulus.

I noticed that herb is in Dr. Z's (Chinese med) arsenal.

I have the thumb..and the first three fingers only have a teeny little "moon" showing, barely there, and acyually mising on the ring finger of one hand...and I have those teeth marks on my toungue.

Are you saying these are bad things to have?

Hi Mo. Only have the half moon on my thumbs. Rest of my fingers are moonless . . . not even a sliver. My girlfriend is a cosmetologist and she always told me I have the strangest fingernails she's ever seen. Also get very red around the base of my fingernails, near the cuticle.

Have had the indents on the sides of my tongue forever and llmd says my tongue deviates to one side. The deviation must be from the bell's palsy?
