I just got the results back from my daughter's western blot from Igenex. It was postivie for IGG, and equivocal for IGM.

I have a consult with Dr. J soon, but can anyone give me a little insight into any details these results might indicate.

thanks.

Well, it means your daughter definitely has Lyme. Let's consider that good news. At least you now know what needs to be done in order for her to get well.

You're in good hands with Dr Jones. Let us know if we can help you with anything else. The following link has excellent information on the Western Blot interpretation, including the significance of each band.
