Hi: Just wondering if anyone has had a yeast infection that caused your breathing to be labored. My breathing is so bad I am having a really hard time. Lyme specialist Dr I see says I have a yeast infection.

Thanks

Sydneyanne

Theres a few things that can affect the lungs in dealing with lyme.

1.) Babesia. That should be a dead give away
2.) BARTONELLA also can
3.) Rifampin used to TREAT bartonella
4.) Acid reflux ( GERD) - yes it can, from antibiotic use, AND from ... bartonella
5.) Yeast

Did your LLMD have you hack up some serious phleghm from your lungs and culture it?

That would be the only way you could know for sure if its yeast. My list is not conclusive.

Yes, I believe it can affect your lungs. A bad yest infection (systemic) can cause pink eye, hives, rash, asthma and anaphylaxis in some cases. I know, it happened to me.

Don't forget about mycoplasma. It's a big time lung pathogen.

Hi Thanks everyone, I still have it, like for 2 months, I am going to have to talk to the lyme doctor about it again. I have heard the co infections can cause that but are they not treated differently than lyme , likw with different meds?

Thanks again, best to you all
