I'M NOT SURE IF I HAVE LYMES DISEASE ..HERE IN ENGLAND THE DOCTORS DON'T SEEM TO KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT .. I WAS BITTEN 3 YEARS AGO ABROAD BY SOMETHING AND IN THE LAST YEAR MY FOOT IS NUMB I HAVE GOOD AND BAD DAYS I'VE GIVEN UP MY JOB BECAUSE I JUST CAN'T PHYSICALLY DO IT..IS THEIR ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO HAS THIS SYMPTOM AND DOES IT EVER GO AWAY???

Neo, might be helpful if you gave us a few more of your symptoms. If you're unable to work, then I'm assuming that's there more going on than just a numb foot.

well I don't think I have any other symptoms I do get confused somtimes and put this down to maybe being on change.. my job was suppling meals on wheels to the elderly so being on my feet all morning caused problems as I found it got worse as the morning went on ... it's like when they inject you at the dentist your face goes numb and you can't control it so it makes it difficult to walk...this is why i'm not sure about having lymes..

I'm not sure if I have anymore there seems to be so many.. I left my job due to not being able to be on my feet all morning it gets worst as the day progresses I delivered hot meals to the elderly and found it was too much getting in and out of the van.. it's like when you have an injection at the denist to numb the area you can't conrol it so it's difficult to walk on..

Hi Neo, I have a few questions, but first off you should see a proper doctor who knows about lyme. Nobody here can give you a diagnosis. That needs to be done by a trained professional.

So do you feel at your best when you "wake up" ?

Does it make your symptoms better if you drink alcohol or eat something with a lot of sugar in it?

What "has" your doctor said aout the numb feet? If you had to quit work because of it then they should take you seriously.

Where have you been abroad in the last few years?

Have you been tested for diabetes?

What is up with all the criticism here. Who are we talking about being rude. I don't understand this thread at all, maybe it's just my lyme brain.

But this person sounds like they are hanging on by a thin thread and perhaps they don't know like I didn't, how to use a computer and especially talk on this board.

I was unaware that it was considering shouting also. So did you mean neo exon was being rude or the person who got upset about the caps was being rude.

In which case I would have to agree with the latter. Maybe they didn't mean it that way. Since we all have lyme and are easily irritated maybe we should give each other more benefit of the doubt before we jump to conclusions.

Neo exon sounds truly confused and that is a serious lyme symptom.

They don't seem to understand they are repeating themselves and can't seem to comprehend whether or not they have other symptoms, although I'd be willing to bet they have neuro ones big time.

[neo exon please read the list of symptoms again slowly.

Take your time and if you even think you have some of them, write them down and then post them.

I know I had so many I thought I must be crazy and exagerating. I wasn't.

You're not either. We can tell just from reading your posts that you are probably suffering from neuological symptoms, such as confusion, memory loss, brain fog, attention deficit maybe.

We are here to help you, not criticize you and there are more caring people on this board than you will ever meet in a lifetime.

Please don't let a few bad moods or expectations of perfection get in your way. Love kat

Hello Neo,

Welcome to LymeNet!

It looks as though you should be evaluated by a doctor who is familiar with Lyme disease and the possible co-infections that could be involved.

There are other members here from England...and hopefully, they will be along to assist you with help in that area.
But, to speed that up...you might try posting in the ``seeking a doctor'' section with England in the title, OK?

Neoexon, as time permits, please go back and delete the 3-4 duplicae posts above. The message board was acting up at the time you posted and everyone ended up with 2-6 posts of the same post.

Just chose EDIT with pencil icon, delete everything on duplicate posts, and show duplicate. Hit enter to revise your posts.

Also on this board, we do not have long, lengthy posts since our lyme brain fog doesn't allow us to comprehend. We try to limit to 6-8 lines of text, and hitting the enter button twice for space between paragraphs.

You will learn a lot here....many wonderful, caring, and not rude folks. It just started wrong on this one...so sorry!
