Hi I wonder if I could ask a few questions as I am new to all this. I was diagnosed 3 months or so ago, and have been on abx for that time,(Biaxin/tinidazole) had many a bad day, so bad you are on your way to the hospital or at least thinking about it seriously. How many times I have gone to bed wondering if I'd be here the next day.
I get up in the morning and sometimes feel ok then after just walking around or moving too quickly, especially my eyes I get dizzy and almost like motion sickness. I also have a swelling in one eye, not too obvious but enough for me to feel it and see it. Sometimes I can swallow something and it hurts going down and my eye will act strangley almost droopy or it will widen/swell. I know this all sounds so strange but its the way it is. Sometimes the pain in my chest, constant burning and aching is so much you don't know what to do.

Also sometimes after I eat , it will feel like its coming back up , bubbling and it affects my breathing and my heart beat is off. Oh boy all this sounds so bizare, but so is this disease I guess. Thanks for all your help everyone!!

Yeah, this disease is pretty strange! I wouldn't worry about most of your symptoms. That's all pretty normal.

I would make sure to eat food when taking your meds. Sometimes it's best to eat food after taking the meds too. It helps the pills go down right.

Are you taking acidophilus everyday? Nystatin? You must keep the yeast at bay. That may be your problem with your stomach.

Also, make sure you take acidophilus 2 hours away from the abx.

My LLMD recommends backing off the meds briefly if you herx too strongly. You don't want to have such a bad herx that you end up in the hospital and then have to stop the abx for several weeks or months.

That happened to me on babs meds once. I herxed so bad I couldn't take more pills for 2 months while I recovered.

So if you feel really horrible, it might be best to skip your next dosage or two. You decide. [Check with your LLMD though.' I am not a dr!

Hope this helps!
