I do remember taking Jake to the doctor when he was about 8 years old. The doctor told us it was from wearing wet mittens. (That was a wasted appointment!)

gave me enderil...the little guy on TV with the cape stuff. Did not help a lick.
When I got erythromicin salve for my conjunctivitis I put it on this spot and it cleared it up...but it came back.
I could'nt convince the ducks that it helped.
It's probably another of the many things we don't know about manifistations of this disease. A type of herpes/virus that this bacteria seems to have in it's makeup.
Email me if the clyndamicin salve works for your son as I would like to get rid of it myself.

Try either antihistimine cream or benidryl cream.
THIS IS SIMILAR.

Dr. C is treating it, but doesnt know what it is?? Didn't identify it?
Linear raised red bumps, sometimes having white little bumps mixed in.
My LLMD said those were from the Lyme and someone else said they were the ACA lesions.
I had them for years, the Dermatologist knew nada about them and even took a little piece off for biop.I asked for it to be checked for Lyme but he thought I was crazy.
My bumps are gone now, after abx. treatment, finally.
A nurse also told me this is common with Lyme and treatment, sees alot of it on the scalp.Bb trying to exit?
Hope he feels better.
The rash isn't raised. It looks like he pushed his fingernails in his hand until they broke the skin open. At the point where the skin is broken, a thin layer of skin lifts up. It is connected but looks similar to dry skin flaking off.
It looks the worst after a shower or washing his hands.

Lower photo is what I get all the time & presently have again! I get it every 4-6 weeks for 2 wks. No skin ointment/rx helps at all. I just want to itch inside the skin.
It started out on my l. elbow; went to r. elbow, stomach, breasts, thighs, & knees.
Have 4 skin biopsies done...negative, "UNKNOWN BUG BITE"! YEH, RIGHT...IT WAS LYME!
